The City of Janesville has announced that the downtown parking facility located at 13 N. Parker Dr. will undergo a deep cleaning process on April 29 and 30. The cleaning operation will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both days, prompting the closure of the parking ramp during these hours.

In a statement released by the city, residents and users of the parking ramp were advised, "Please have all vehicles removed prior to the start of cleaning. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in removing vehicles which will allow us to perform a more thorough cleaning." This request is crucial to ensure that the cleaning crew can effectively carry out their duties.

Following the overnight cleaning on April 29, the parking ramp is scheduled to reopen during the day on April 30. However, it will close again on the same day from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for further cleaning procedures.

For any inquiries or assistance regarding the closure and cleaning schedule, individuals are encouraged to "Please contact the City Services Center with any questions at (608) 755-3110." This contact information serves as a direct line for individuals seeking clarification or additional information about the temporary closure of the parking ramp.

The City of Janesville appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the community during this cleaning operation. By adhering to the guidelines and ensuring the removal of vehicles as requested, residents can contribute to a more comprehensive and effective cleaning process.
