Steil has served as the representative for Wisconsin’s 1st District since replacing Paul Ryan in 2019. He has secured re-election in each subsequent general election—defeating Randy Bryce in 2018, Roger Polack in 2020, Ann Roe in 2022, and Peter Barca in 2024.
