Bunny Paw Print Trails Program Returns to Janesville

Bunnypaw

City of Janesville issued the following announcement on April 7.

The Janesville Recreation Division has discovered that the bunny has made its way back to various parks and trails in the City of Janesville. Three trails, all located in different areas of Wisconsin’s Park Place, have been marked with special bunny paw prints.

The starting point of each trail begins with a bunny, directions, and a letter. Follow the bunny’s paw prints along the path to find another note at the end, along with a unique item or bunny trading card to take with you.

Keep track of each of the two letters for all three trails to collect six letters that will spell a one-word phrase. Participants may complete all the trails in one day or choose to split up the routes over different days. Each trail segment is a quarter of a mile down and back for a half-mile walk.

Bunny Trail 1: Start at Ashland Avenue and North Washington Street

Bunny Trail 2: Start at South Washington Street and Riverside Street

Bunny Trail 3: Start at River Street and Rock Street

The Bunny Paw Print Trails will be up from April 7-24. Once you have visited all three bunny trails, and have de-scrambled the one-word phrase, contact the Janesville Parks and Recreation Office at recreationmail@ci.janesville.wi.us or message the answer to the Janesville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

The Janesville Recreation Division will randomly select three winners who submit the one-word phrase to receive a basket of goodies.

For questions, contact the Janesville Recreation Division at (608) 755-3030.
