Earth Day Celebration with Frogs, Toads and Salamanders

Frog

City Of Milton issued the following announcement on April 14.

The Rock County Conservationists are offering a child-friendly program to celebrate Earth Day.

Earth Day Celebration with Frogs, Toads, and Salamanders will be held at the Tails n Trails Dog Park in Milton on April 22 starting at 7 p.m.

The event begins with a hands-on display of live amphibian eggs, tadpoles, frogs, toads, and salamanders. As the sun begins to set, attendees will walk to a nearby pond to hear the evening calls of spring peepers, chorus frogs, and toads. Beginning as soon as the ice melts, these amphibians’ calls are sure signs that spring has arrived!
