In 2023, four (4) seats for the office of Alderperson At Large are up for election. Nomination packets to run for office and appear on the ballot are due to the City Clerk’s office by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023, or the candidate’s name will not be placed on the ballot.
Candidates may still run for Alderperson At Large as write-in candidates. Write-in paperwork must be filed with the City Clerk by 12:00 pm on Friday, March 31st, 2023, to be a registered write-in candidate.
You may also run as an unregistered write-in candidate.
Nomination packets cannot be printed or started until December 1st, 2022.
Individuals interested in running for office may contact City Clerk Brittney Rindy. The deadline to file Declaration of Candidacy and Nomination Packets is January 3rd, 2023.
Non-Council members interested in running for office are also asked to complete the Volunteer Profile Sheet and submit it with the above paperwork (not a required document to run for local office).
