Beginning October 23, a contractor working for the City of Janesville will be making repairs to the concrete pavement at various locations on Milton Avenue. The work will take place on the street in the southbound lanes between Woodcrest Drive and Kettering Street and in the southbound lanes between Morse Street and Humes Road. 

The concrete repairs will be staged such that only one lane of Milton Avenue will be closed at a time. The work will take approximately two weeks to complete. Individual lane closures will typically last a few days. Access to businesses will be maintained throughout the construction. Drivers are encouraged to reduce speeds in the work zones and to stay alert to changing traffic patterns.
