The City of Janesville Recreation Division is offering an exciting opportunity for middle school students to have a fun-filled evening at the Middle School Rec Nites. With activities such as swimming, dancing, open gym, prize raffles, and more, this program is designed to provide sixth, seventh, and eighth graders with an enjoyable and memorable experience.

According to the Recreation Division, the events will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and admission is priced at $7. Concessions will also be available for purchase, ensuring that participants can refuel while having a blast.

It is important to note that students are only allowed to attend the Rec Nite at the school they are registered to attend. Student IDs will be required at event check-in, so it is essential for participants to bring their identification. However, the program is not limited to public school students. Home-schooled and parochial students are also welcome to attend. In order to register these students and choose the desired location, parents or guardians should contact the Recreation Division directly.

To enhance the experience for everyone involved, parents or guardians are encouraged to become Rec Nite Chaperones. By volunteering as a chaperone, their children will receive free admission to the event, making it an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy.

Looking ahead, the upcoming Middle School Rec Nites are scheduled as follows:

- March 1 at Franklin Middle School

- April 12 at Edison Middle School

- April 26 at Marshall Middle School

If you have any questions or if you would like to register a home-schooled or parochial student, please contact the Recreation Division at (608) 755-3030.

In conclusion, the City of Janesville Recreation Division is offering Middle School Rec Nites for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders to enjoy a fun evening of activities. With swimming, dancing, open gym, and more, this program promises an exciting and entertaining experience for all participants. Don't miss out on this opportunity to create lasting memories and make new friends.
