The Janesville Farmers Market will be back at the Town Square in Downtown Janesville on Saturdays from May 4 through October 26. With a focus on offering locally grown and made products, the market boasts over 100 vendors and serves as a lively community activity in the heart of downtown Janesville.
In preparation for the market, the Janesville Farmers Market announced road closures to ensure public safety and accommodate the event. According to the market organizers, "To accommodate the event and provide public safety, the following roads and public areas will be closed beginning at approximately 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Farmers Market."
The affected roads and public areas include Water Street from Milwaukee Street to Court Street, River (Festival) Street from Milwaukee Street to Court Street, and Dodge Street from just past Franklin Street into the Town Square W. Parking Lot along the river.
