The Janesville Police Department (JPD) is organizing a Bike Rodeo on June 8, at the YMCA parking lot (221 Dodge St.) from 9 a.m. to noon. The event aims to promote bike safety and fun for the community. It is open to all in Janesville, offering a chance for children and families to learn and have fun together. Participants can navigate an obstacle course while JPD bike officers demonstrate safe riding. Helmets are mandatory, and loaner bikes will be available. Bike and helmet safety checks will be provided by event co-sponsors. Free hotdogs and pizza will be offered by Marco’s Pizza. For inquiries, contact Officer Daniel Hanson at (608) 755-3134 or hansond@ci.janesville.wi.us.
