N. Wright Road from Humes Road/USH 14 to E. Rotamer Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, June 10. Detours will be posted utilizing Humes Road/USH 14, Deerfield Drive, and E. Rotamer Road. A contractor working for the City of Janesville will be resurfacing N. Wright Road from Humes Road/USH 14 to Sandhill Drive as part of the city’s annual street rehabilitation program.

The work is expected to be completed and the road re-opened to traffic by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 12, but the paving is weather dependent and may be postponed due to rain.

The resurfacing work will impact the Ice Age Trail crossing N. Wright Road on the north side of Humes Road. Trail users are advised to avoid this section of the trail from June 10 through June 12. Those using the trail should be prepared to walk across the intersection using the shoulder of Humes Road and will experience delays when the resurfacing work is in progress where the Ice Age Trail crosses Wright Road.
