The City of Janesville Recreation Division invites the community to Optimist Park (4201 Ruger Ave.) for another summer of Movies in the Park. This free program will commence on Friday, June 21, with a screening of the animated movie Migration at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. Pre-movie barrel rides will be available starting at 7 p.m., and concessions will be available for purchase.
All movies shown are rated PG or lower. In case of inclement weather, movies will not be rescheduled. According to City Ordinance, no liquor, beer, smoking, or vaping is allowed in City parks. Additionally, pets are prohibited in any public park from May 15 to September 15.
