Residents whose structures were damaged by the severe weather event on Saturday, June 22, are asked to call 211 to report damage to their homes, mobile homes, apartments, or businesses.

Local government agencies will utilize the information to identify impacted portions of the community and help staff plan and conduct preliminary damage assessments of the affected areas. Staff will not contact homeowners or conduct a detailed site assessment like their insurance adjuster would.

Calling 211 does not register homeowners for any type of emergency or disaster assistance.

For questions related to the Emergency Operations Center, contact the City of Janesville at (608) 373-6025.
