On Monday, Feb. 24, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Webster Gorloks.

The game took place at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Gorloks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 9 a.m. at Fortune Road Athletic Complex against JWU Providence Wildcats.
