On Tuesday, March 4, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Misericordia Cougars.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 4:50 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Houghton Highlanders.
