On Thursday, March 6, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 12-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Houghton Highlanders.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Concordia Moorhead Cobbers.
