On Friday, March 7, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the John Carroll Blue Streaks.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Blue Streaks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4:45 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Rivier Raiders.
