Saturday, April 5: Albany High School standout Avary Briggs’ college team loses to Cornell Rams

On Saturday, April 5, former Albany High School standout Avary Briggs’ current college team, the Beloit Buccaneers, lost 11-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Cornell Rams.

The game took place at Van Metre Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Grinnell Softball Complex against Grinnell Pioneers.
