Thursday, April 17: Albany High School standout Avary Briggs’ college team loses to Dubuque Spartans

On Thursday, April 17, former Albany High School standout Avary Briggs’ current college team, the Beloit Buccaneers, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Dubuque Spartans.

The game took place at UD Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Monmouth College Softball Field against Monmouth Fighting Scots.
