City of Milton issued the following announcement on Dec. 1
December 1 is the first day Alderperson candidates may circulate nomination papers for the 2022 Spring Election. There are three alderperson seats on the Common Council for the City of Milton up for election in 2022.
If you would like to run for office and need a candidate packet, please pick up a candidate packet at City Hall, 710 S. Janesville Street. The candidate packet is also available on the City's website.

Important Dates to Remember:
- Monday, December 27, 2021– Last day (5 p.m.) for incumbents not seeking re-election to file Declaration of Non-Candidacy with the City Clerk.
- Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - Last day (5 p.m.) for candidates to file nomination papers with the City Clerk.
- Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – Spring Primary (if required)
- Tuesday, April 5, 2022 – Spring Election
