Public Notice-Zoning Board of Appeals

City of Lake Mills issued the following announcement on January 13.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Lake Mills will hold a public hearing at the Lake Mills Municipal Building, Council Chambers 200 Water Street, Lake Mills, Wisconsin on January 25, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Front entrance of City Hall will be unlocked for those attending in person. 

The Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting will be conducted via Zoom and in-person. Please follow the links/phone number below if you would like to participate in the virtual meeting. The Board will be considering the following:

Call to Order.

Roll Call.

Approval and/or Correction of Minutes of November 4, 2020.

CASE NO. 01-22, Discuss and act on appeal request from Andrew and Rhiannon Tonies at 420 Fremont Street (Parcel No. 246-0713-1144-018), Lake Mills, WI to allow a driveway width of 25-feet at the Right of Way and a min throat length of 0-Feet.

Per Section 660-39 (A)(3) of the Zoning Ordinance, single-family residential driveways are limited to 18-feet at the Right of Way. The petitioner is seeking a variance of 7-feet to allow a width of 25-feet at the right-of-way.

Per section 660-39(A)(5) of the Zoning Ordinance, single-family residential driveways require a minimum throat length of 5-feet. The petitioner is seeking a variance of 5-feet to not have a driveway throat.
