Portion of East Court Street to Close October 17

A portion of East Court Street, from South Parker Drive to Parker Place, will close to through traffic on Tuesday, October 17. The street will remain closed for five days as a private contractor completes work on the Rock County Courthouse. 

Traffic will detour around the closure on South Parker Drive, East Milwaukee Street, and Parker Place.

Bus Routes 1: Milton, 7: Nightside Milton and 5: Milwaukee Will Be Detoured During Closure

E. Court St. will be closed from S. Parker Dr. to Parker Pl. causing the following detours:   The outbound 1: Milton and 7: Nightside Milton Routes will follow S. River St. to E. Court St., to S. Parker Dr., to resume regular routing on E. Milwaukee St. The inbound routes will reverse the detour to travel to the Transfer Center. 

The Outbound 5: Milwaukee Route will follow S. River St., E., Court St., S. Parker Dr., E. Milwaukee St., S. Atwood Ave., and resume route on E. Court St.  The inbound route will reverse the detour to travel to the Transfer Center. 

The following bus stops will be affected:  For the 1: Milton, 7: Nightside Milton and 5: Milwaukee Routes, bus stop #120 E. Court/Parker Pl. will be closed.  For 1: Milton & 7: Nightside Milton Routes, bus stop #367 at S. Atwood/E. Milwaukee will be moved across S. Atwood to the southeast corner of S. Atwood/E. Milwaukee. For the 5: Milwaukee Route, bus stop #121 at E. Court/S. Atwood will be moved across E. Court St. to the southwest corner of E. Court/S. Atwood.
