The City of Janesville Recreation Division is launching an exciting new program called Heart My Yard, designed to bring joy and surprises to families looking for a unique way to celebrate Valentine's Day. Starting on February 13 or 14, participating City of Janesville residents will have their yards filled with 20 plastic hearts, each filled with delightful surprises for children. To add to the excitement, Recreation staff will also leave a special note on the door after hiding the hearts.

Registration for the Heart My Yard program is open now and will continue through February 4, or while supplies last. City residents can register for the program either in person at the Recreation Division Office located at 18 N. Jackson St. or through the City's website. The cost to participate in the program is $50.

For those who are not Janesville residents or prefer to hide the hearts inside their own homes, pre-filled hearts are available for purchase. These pre-filled hearts can be acquired at the Recreation Division Office or through the City's website until February 4, or while supplies last. The Heart My Yard To Go option, priced at $35, allows individuals to collect the pre-filled hearts from the office between February 12 and February 14.
