City of Janesville Seeking Proposals to Update Zoning Ordinance

The City of Janesville, Wisconsin is looking to update its zoning ordinance and subdivision ordinance consistency throughout the Code of General Ordinances. The current zoning ordinance, which was adopted in 1981, is in need of a substantial update to align with the recently updated City of Janesville Comprehensive Plan.

According to Duane Cherek, the Planning Director of Janesville, "The ordinance is in need of a substantial update in order to provide greater opportunity for the continued growth and success of the community." The City is seeking proposals that are responsive to this request for proposals.

Interested parties can view the full Request for Proposals on the City's website. Electronic submissions can be sent to cherekd@janesvillewi.gov or delivered via USB storage device to Duane Cherek at 18 N. Jackson St. Janesville, WI 53548. The deadline for submitting proposals is 4:30 p.m. CST on Friday, March 1, 2024.
