Registration for Senior Center Summer Day Trips Now Open

Fill up your Summer with fun by adding the Janesville Senior Center Day Trips to your calendar. The Senior Center is offering exciting opportunities for members and non-members to enjoy unique experiences this summer.

Join the Senior Center for their June "Death of a Gangster" murder mystery trip! Attendees will visit the Jacob Henry Mansion, where you'll be immersed into a world where a wedding has gone fatally wrong. Work together with your fellow detectives to solve this who-done-it! Lunch will be stuffed chicken breast, potatoes, veggies, garden salad, rolls, and a dessert. The trip departs from the Janesville Ice Arena at 8:45 a.m. and returns around 5:30 p.m. The cost is $108 for members and $118 for non-members. Registration and payment are due by Thursday, May 9.

In July, the Senior Center invites you to a rockin' tribute to the music of the 1960s! Attendees will visit the Marriot Theatre to see a performance of Beehive: The 60s Musical, a 60s-themed musical featuring big hairdos, big dreams, and outstanding female vocalists. Before the show, the group will stop at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria for a delicious meal. The trip departs from the Janesville Ice Arena at 9 a.m. and returns around 5:30 p.m. The cost is $110 for members and $120 for non-members. Registration and payment are due by Thursday, June 13.
