Janesville Senior Center Celebrates 600th Member Milestone

On Monday, April 15, the Janesville Senior Center welcomed its 600th member, marking a significant milestone for the facility. A yearly membership to the center is priced at $25 and is open to individuals aged 50 and above. Members have the opportunity to partake in a variety of daily recreational, educational, and social programs.

"The Senior Center is a great place to meet people, try an activity you are interested in, or learn something new," expressed Recreation Programmer Vicki Beduze. She added, "The Janesville Senior Activity Center truly is ‘The Action Place’."

Among the activities offered at the center are art classes, craft classes, music groups, card groups, games, fitness classes, educational classes, social activities, and monthly trips. Additionally, the center serves as a platform for advocacy, fellowship, and leadership opportunities.
