The City of Janesville has released its Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for 2023. This 19-page document summarizes financial information from the 2023 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, presenting it in a format designed to be accessible and understandable to the public and other interested parties without a background in public finance.
In addition to financial data, the report includes:
- A message from City Manager Kevin Lahner.
- A brief list of city accomplishments and awards.
- General characteristics of the community.
- A summary of the City’s 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.
The report also lists ways for residents to stay informed about city services, news, current projects, and upcoming events.
In March of this year, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) awarded the City with its PAFR Award for the 2022 report. This marks five consecutive years that Janesville has received this accolade, recognizing its commitment to providing financial information to the community.
