Saturday, March 29: Brodhead High School standout Sophia Leitzen’s college team wins to Evansville Purple Aces

On Saturday, March 29, former Brodhead High School standout Sophia Leitzen’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Valpo Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Flames Field against UIC Flames.
