On Thursday, April 10, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the UW - Platteville Pioneers.

The game took place at UW-Platteville Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Clark Field against Coe Kohawks.
