Special Event Information - St. Patrick's Day Parade

The following areas, including the Square, will be blocked off from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023:

1500-1600 block of 13th Street

1000-1200 block of 17th Avenue

1600-1700 block of 10th Street

1000-1200 block of 16th Avenue

A three (3) block radius from the Square will see increased traffic with little or no parking spaces available due to the event. City parking lots will also see increased use and traffic for people attending this event.

Traffic flow ahead of the event will be limited between 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on the main arterials surrounding the Square. It is recommended that commuters and people conducting business find alternate routes to avoid traffic delays during this time. Peak times for this event are 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The parade will start at approximately 5:17 p.m. and last between 6:00 - 6:15 p.m.

There are no special parking restrictions in place outside the area of the Square as a result of this event.

People attending the event may find parking available on city lots located in the following areas:

1100 block of 15th Avenue

Intersection of 15th Avenue and 11th Street

Intersection of 16th Avenue and 8th Street

Intersection of 9th Street and 18th Avenue

Intersection of 12th Street and 16th Avenue
