Contractors will begin performing utility improvements, intermittent repairs to the curb and gutter, and reconstructing the pavement on Cherokee Road, Seminole Road, and Seminole Court starting Thursday, March 14, 2024.
According to the City of Janesville Engineering Division, Cherokee Road will be closed to through traffic from S. Harmony Drive to S. Lexington Drive during the reconstruction. Seminole Road will also be closed from Hillcrest Drive to Cherokee Road, and Seminole Court will be inaccessible to through traffic as well. The closure is expected to last until late August.
