Monroe High School had the highest enrollment among Green County schools, welcoming 686 students during the 2024-25 academic year, according to a report from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 54.7% identified themselves as boys, and 45.3% as girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, accounting for 80.9% of the Monroe High School's total enrollment.

Among the 20 schools in Green County, Monroe Middle School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 483 students, while Ronald R. Albrecht Elementary School welcomed 460 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Monroe High School is a part of the Monroe School District, which roughly covers schools within Green County with its main office in Monroe.

In the previous school year, Monroe High School also had the highest number of students among Green County schools.

In 2022, the teacher-to-student ratio was approximately 1:14 in Wisconsin classrooms, compared to the national average of 1:16.
