Bryan Steil, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district, recently used his social media platform to address issues related to election integrity and disaster recovery in Wisconsin.

On September 23, 2025, Steil posted, "U.S. elections should be for U.S. citizens only. Important report below from @WiLawLiberty on what Wisconsin can do to advance election integrity. https://t.co/Ame3yx7fDm". Later that day, he followed up with another post: "We should absolutely pass this bill https://t.co/VGKdgPGiXK".

The following day, on September 24, Steil shifted focus to local disaster relief efforts, stating: "Disaster Recovery Centers are now open in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties to assist individuals who have uninsured losses or emergency needs from storms and flooding. See below for more information or contact my office."

Steil has represented Wisconsin's 1st congressional district since 2019 and has consistently won re-election against Democratic challengers in recent cycles. In the most recent general election of 2024, he defeated Peter Barca with 54% of the vote compared to Barca's 43.8%. He previously prevailed over Ann Roe in 2022 with a similar margin and Roger Polack in 2020 with nearly 60% of the vote. In his first race in 2018, Steil secured victory over Randy Bryce by approximately twelve percentage points.
