The Hedberg Public Library is revamping its Pages & Positivi-Tea online book club, transitioning it to an in-person format. Renamed as the "UnBook Club," this new iteration will not require participants to read or discuss a specific book. Instead, attendees are encouraged to bring whatever they are currently reading and share their thoughts with the group.

This change aims to alleviate the pressure of having to read a designated book within a set timeframe, which can be challenging if the book is not enjoyable or easily accessible. The UnBook Club provides an opportunity for readers to engage in communal discussions about their personal reading choices without such constraints.

Participants can drop in at their convenience, stay as long as they wish, and enjoy light snacks while reading in comfortable chairs provided by the library. Time will be allocated at the end of each session for those who wish to discuss what they are reading.

The Hedberg Public Library intends for this initiative to foster a sense of community among book lovers that extends beyond individual reading experiences.

Sessions for teens and adults are scheduled as follows:

- Thursdays: June 6 & 20, 5:30-7 p.m.

- Wednesdays: July 10 & 24, 5:30-7 p.m.

- Tuesdays: August 6 & 20, 5:30-7 p.m.
