Bryan Steil, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district and a recent victor in the 2024 general election against Peter Barca, shared updates on his social media regarding community engagement and national concerns.

On September 22, Steil posted about a visit to a local business, stating, "It's Miller Time! Great afternoon at a 5th generation family business, CJW Distributors, in Mt. Pleasant." The same evening, he extended holiday greetings to those observing a religious event: "Wishing a happy and healthy new year to everyone celebrating Rosh Hashanah this evening!"

The following day, Steil addressed international influence within U.S. institutions by supporting another representative's efforts. On September 23 he wrote, "Thanks @RepAbeHamadeh for your work on this. Authoritarian regimes like China should not be spreading foreign propaganda in the halls of Congress."

Steil has maintained his seat since first being elected in 2018 and has secured reelection through subsequent cycles—defeating Randy Bryce in 2018 (54.6% to 42.3%), Roger Polack in 2020 (59.3% to 40.6%), Ann Roe in 2022 (54.1% to 45.1%), and most recently Peter Barca in 2024 with a margin of 54% to 43.8%. These consistent victories highlight his continued presence as a Republican representative from Wisconsin.
