Public Notice - Annual Action Plan and 30 Day Public Review Period

Beloit City - WI issued the following announcement on Sept. 24

The City of Beloit will submit its 2022 Annual Action Plan and 2022 budget with list of projects funded with 2022 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before November 15, 2021, or at such a date thereafter prescribed by HUD. This notice is to inform the public that the following actions and activities will take place on the proposed allocation of $640,000 in new 2022 CDBG funds, approximately $241,000 in CDBG program income, and approximately $5,000 in prior year unspent CDBG funds:

  • 09-30-2021 through 10-30-2021: 30-day Public Review Period: During the 30-day public review period, the 2022 Annual Action Plan and 2022 CDBG Budget will be available for public review and comment. Members of the public may view the documents in the lobby of the 1st floor of City Hall, 100 State Street, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and at the Beloit Public Library during normal business hours.  The Annual Plan and CDBG Budget will also be available on the City’s website at www.beloitwi.gov under City Departments - Community Development.
  • 10-18-2021 at 7:00pm at 100 State Street, Beloit, WI: A public hearing on the proposal will be held during the City Council meeting. This meeting may be held virtually. Details will be made available to the public prior to the meeting.
  • 11-1-2021 at 7:00pm at 100 State Street, Beloit, WI: Final Approval: The City Council will take final action on the proposal during the City Council meeting. This meeting may be held virtually. Details will be made available to the public prior to the meeting.
