Residents Encouraged to Utilize Paperless Utility Billing

18

City Of Janesville issued the following announcement on Sept. 23

The City of Janesville is encouraging interested utility customers to take advantage of its paperless billing service. This option allows customers to receive their quarterly Janesville Municipal Utility Bill directly to their e-mail address.

This feature allows timely access to Utility Bill statements anywhere internet access is available. Paperless billing also helps reduce environmental impact and allows the City's utilities to keep operating costs down.

Customers may sign up for paperless billing at www.janesvillewi.gov/paperless. Once online registration is complete, City staff will send a confirmation e-mail verifying your account's enrollment in paperless billing.

Online bill paying is also available for those interested via the City's iCart software. A Bank Draft application for that service is available on the City’s website. Autopay makes sure your payment is made timely and hassle free.

Paperless billing is not required but rather an additional option for a more convenient, environmentally-friendly service. Utility customers may continue to receive their Utility Bill via the mail.

For questions and additional information, contact the City of Janesville Utility Billing Office at (608) 755-3090.
