City of Beloit issued the following announcement on Sept. 17
The City of Beloit Transit System (BTS) completed development of a Transit Development Plan (TDP) in 2020 resulted in major route changes to Beloit’s public transit bus route system beginning in October of 2020. Since implementation of the new routes, BTS has identified areas needing improvement in order to alleviate timing issues and provide better connectivity to the Beloit Community. To provide better overall service, BTS is proposing minor adjustments to the current fixed route system.
Beloit Transit will hold the following opportunities to solicit input from the public regarding the proposed changes. There will be NO fare increases as part of this proposal. The newly modified routes are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 1, 2021.
