Beloit City - WI issued the following announcement on Nov. 3
The City of Beloit is pleased to announce the selection of Marcy Granger as Clerk-Treasurer. Granger began her role on Monday, November 1, 2021.
In her role, Granger oversees the City Clerk-Treasurer Division, including licensing and billing, running elections, clerking the City Council meetings, and managing meeting agendas, minutes and other city documents in adherence with Wisconsin Open Records Law.
Granger has previous experience as a clerk where she served the Town of Milton. She has attended UW-Green Bay’s Municipal Clerks Institute. In addition to her work as a clerk, Granger has experience as an election worker and is certified as an election trainer.
“I truly love the whole election process and value the election workers and the Rock County clerk’s time and effort put into each and every election,” Granger said. “I am very excited to make the transition to the City of Beloit, and can’t wait to meet everyone.”
