City of Janesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 4
This holiday season, City of Janesville staff are coming together to help spread health and happiness to community members in need with a Soup n’ Socks Drive!
Beginning this week, the public is encouraged to join City staff in donating canned soups and new socks at collection bins located at City facilities throughout Janesville. Whether it's tomato or potato, tube or ankle, your gifts will help ensure our neighbors have nutrition and warmth this winter.
The community can find Soup n’ Socks collection bins can be found at:
- City Hall (18 N. Jackson St.)
- Janesville Police Department (100 N. Jackson St.)
- Janesville Fire Department ( 303 Milton Ave)
- Transit Service Center (101 Black Bridge Rd.)
- Water Utility (123 E. Delevan Dr.)
- Wastewater Utility (3300 W. Tripp Rd.)
- City Services Center (2200 N. US Hwy. 51)
