Beloit City - WI issued the following announcement on Dec. 22
The State Street entrance to the City Hall small parking lot will be closed while the 2nd and 3rd floors are being renovated for safety and security enhancements. Drivers will still be able to access the drive-through dropbox.
The small parking lot will be closed starting this week until the project is completed in May 2022. All other traffic should enter City Hall using the Shirland Avenue entrance.
City Hall is still accessible on the first floor where a receptionist is located; there should be minimal service impacts due to the renovations. The 2nd-4th floors remain closed to face-to-face public contact due to COVID-19 impacts and construction.
