City of Janesville issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
The Park Place Performs! virtual tool empowers the community to track the progress of the City’s strategic goals. Staff regularly review the site and make updates as new data becomes available.
Park Place Performs! was initially launched in 2017 as a part of the City’s continued efforts to enhance its openness and transparency for the Janesville community. The website offers a look at the City’s strategic goals and objectives, giving stakeholders the ability to view the data that informs the City’s approach to delivering, evaluating, and improving public programs and services. The performance measurement system strategically focuses on outcome-based measures rather than output-based measures whenever possible.
The community can visit the site to see current ratings on road conditions, critical economic indicators, proactive policing initiatives, housing assistance efforts, commercial and residential development, financial health, fire and EMS activities, and much more.
The City of Janesville is committed to providing high-quality, efficient public programs and services while ensuring accountability to its stakeholders throughout the process. Alongside Park Place Performs!, the Open Budget and Open Expenditures dashboards are available with in-depth financial information for the public to view. Together, the entire suite of the City’s Open Janesville websites is available to the public at www.janesvillewi.gov/openjanesville.
