Most City of Janesville facilities will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. This includes:
- City Hall
- Oak Hill Cemetery Office
- City Services Center
- Police Administration
- Fire Administration
- Sanitary & Demolition Landfills
- Ice Arena
- Senior Center
- JTS Administration
- Water & Wastewater Utility Offices
- Trash & Recycling Collection - No collection will take place on Tuesday, July 4. Collection regularly scheduled for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, July 5. All remaining trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day during this week only, with Friday collection completed on Saturday, July 10. Please remember to have your trash and recycling carts to the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of collection, per City Ordinance.
- Janesville Transit System - JTS services will not be provided Tuesday, July 4. Regular service will resume on Wednesday, July 5.
