Pavement reconstruction work will begin on portions of the following streets on Friday, September 8.

• Lincoln Street from Rockport Road to South High Street
• Wilson Avenue from Cherry Street to Park Avenue
• West Van Buren Street from Cherry Street to Lincoln Street

These street segments will be closed to traffic as a contractor working for the City of Janesville reconstructs the asphalt pavement as part of the annual street rehabilitation program. Lincoln Street's intersections with Racine Street and Johnson Street will remain open during reconstruction. The work will be completed, and the roads reopened to traffic by October 6.
