The City of Janesville has been honored with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This prestigious award was given in recognition of the City's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022.

City Finance Director Dave Godek expressed his pride in receiving this recognition, stating, "This award validates that the City produces quality financial statements that conform to the professional standards of the Government Finance Officers Association.
