The Janesville Senior Center is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a special musical event. On March 14th, the center will host a Dulcimer Celtic Music Program in the Riverview Room starting at 1 p.m.

Celtic music enthusiasts and those looking to immerse themselves in the rich musical tradition originating from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales are invited to attend. The program promises to showcase a variety of instruments, including a lap dulcimer, guitar, hammer dulcimer, bowed dulcimer, and wooden flute played by talented musicians.

In line with the spirit of community and celebration, the Dulcimer Celtic Music Program is free of charge. However, interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots by contacting the Senior Center at (608) 755-3040 or by visiting the center directly to register.

This event offers a unique opportunity for individuals to enjoy the enchanting melodies of Celtic music and embrace the cultural heritage of the musical traditions of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
