The Janesville Fire Department will hold a “Fill the Fire Truck” school supply drive on Friday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart, located at 3800 Deerfield Drive.
Firefighters will be present to distribute lists of needed school supplies. Individuals interested in donating can purchase the listed items and drop off their donations upon exiting Walmart. Monetary donations will also be accepted and used to buy additional school supplies.
Those wishing to donate after the event can drop off school supplies at Fire Station 1, located at 303 Milton Avenue, through August 7.
