Nommo Donald, Vice President of Beloit Health System, will receive an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters from West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS). This honor acknowledges her dedication to serving economically disadvantaged communities within the healthcare sector.
The ceremony is planned for June 7, 2025. Dr. Phillip S. Porter, President of WCBCS, commented on this recognition: “Nommo is a visionary and dedicated healthcare servant leader with a passion to serve, empower, and advocate for the economically underserved in the community. It is my privilege to welcome her into the esteemed West Coast family.”
Tim McKevett, President and CEO of Beloit Health System, also expressed his admiration: "Congratulations to Nommo on receiving this well-deserved Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters! Your unwavering dedication to serving economically disadvantaged populations in healthcare exemplifies true leadership and compassion. Dr. Donald's career spans over three decades in the healthcare industry. She began in customer service before moving into roles such as Pharmaceutical Representative and Regional Referral Manager. Her administrative experience includes positions at Emory Healthcare, Grady Healthcare System, and Texas Health Resources.
Her accomplishments have earned her numerous awards, including being listed among the Top 50 Women Leaders of Wisconsin and recognized by the NAACP for her contributions to health care leadership.
Donald credits her success to faith, family, and mentors. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., she believes strongly in empowerment: “If I can help somebody along the way, then my living will not be in vain.”
