Monday, April 28: Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ college team wins to Augustana College Vikings

On Monday, April 28, former Monroe High School standout Katie Hayes’ current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 16-7 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Augustana College Vikings.

The game took place at Roy J. Carver Physical Education Center. This was their second matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 1 p.m. at Central College Softball Field against Central Dutch.
