Bryan Steil, U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st district since 2019, announced his support for new digital asset legislation in a series of posts on July 17, 2025.
In one post, Steil stated, "The golden age of digital assets is here, and the CLARITY Act will lead the way." (July 17, 2025).
Later that day, he wrote: "The Web 3 race is here, implementing clear regulations with CLARITY and GENIUS will protect consumers and ensure U.S. leadership in digital assets." (July 17, 2025).
In a subsequent post, Steil added: "The future of Web3 is here and the U.S. is ready to lead" (July 17, 2025).
Steil has served as a member of Congress from Wisconsin’s 1st District since replacing Paul Ryan in 2019. He was born in Janesville in 1981 and continues to reside there. Steil holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
