Bryan Steil, U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st district and Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, shared updates on ongoing legislative matters and investigations through a series of posts in July 2025.
On July 15, Steil addressed his investigation into ActBlue, stating, "Nearly two years ago, I started an investigation into ActBlue which continued today with a deposition of a current employee. As Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, strengthening our campaign finance system is a top priority. I won't stop until we have answers."
Later that week, Steil commented on developments related to cryptocurrency legislation. On July 17 he wrote, "After the longest House vote in history…Crypto Week continues on! https://t.co/WsJjSJfdPU" He followed up shortly after with another update: "Crypto vote update https://t.co/SY2ZEdzinL"
Steil has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Paul Ryan as representative for Wisconsin’s 1st district. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1981, Steil holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
